This Privacy Policy describes how Darbyon Scrapper ("the Extension", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Darbyon Scrapper Google Chrome Extension.

Darbyon Scrapper is developed and operated by Darbyon, a marketing agency based in Paris, France.

By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

Darbyon Scrapper is designed to extract and structure publicly available information from web pages for professional and marketing analysis purposes. The Extension only processes data necessary to perform its intended functionality and only when actively triggered by the user.

When activated by the user, the Extension may access and extract publicly visible information from the web page currently open in the user’s browser. This may include visible text content, profile information, page metadata, URLs, and structured data displayed on the page.

The Extension only processes data from pages where the user explicitly activates it. It does not automatically scrape data in the background and does not monitor browsing activity outside of user-initiated actions.

Depending on the website being accessed, the extracted content may include publicly available personal data such as names, job titles, company names, publicly available contact information, and public social media profile information. The Extension does not attempt to access private, restricted, or password-protected data.

Darbyon Scrapper does not collect browsing history outside the pages where it is actively used. It does not track users across websites. It does not collect passwords, payment information, health data, or sensitive personal data. It does not sell personal data.

Data extracted by the Extension is used solely for marketing analysis, business intelligence, lead research, and internal professional use. The Extension does not use collected data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated commercial purposes.

Data may be temporarily stored locally in the user’s browser to enable functionality. If the Extension allows exporting data (such as CSV export or integration with internal tools), the data is stored only in systems controlled by the user or by Darbyon under secure infrastructure. Darbyon does not maintain a central database of scraped data unless explicitly agreed within a specific enterprise agreement.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data processed by the Extension. Data may only be shared with the user who initiated the extraction, within Darbyon for internal professional use, or if required by law or regulatory obligation.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Darbyon Scrapper complies with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, as well as the terms of service of the websites they access. Darbyon does not assume responsibility for misuse of the Extension.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Users maintain full control over when the Extension is activated, what data is extracted, and where the data is exported or stored. Uninstalling the Extension stops all data processing immediately.

Darbyon Scrapper is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by modifying the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Extension after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
